Preventing Age Spots

Not fair blaming your age! Age spots are really sunspots. Sunspots are caused by UV rays, so the best prevention is to make sure you use a sunscreen that contains UVA protection. Look for ingredients like zinc, and titanium dioxide  which screen the pigment-producing rays. Infrared rays that produce heat can also trigger sunspots, so a warning to you all stay cool with a spray bottle mister and stay in the shade, even if you’re wearing sunscreen. Glycolic daily exfoliators, Glycolic and Kojic peels have been shown to lighten spots, and stubborn spots can be lightened by lightening serums/creams that contain natural lightening ingredients such as Arbutin. So be smart and use the preventive treatment otherwise turn to chemical peeling which will give you the opportunity to reverse the damage.
